Prototype development for DB Call a Bike
I have been working with the Scholz&Volkmer team to produce some 3D animation and visualization based on the prototypes and technical drawings they provided from the DB bike and bike parking.
The result was a completely renewed design for the rental bikes from Call a Bike on behalf of Deutsche Bahn. Bike rental systems like this are central to the traffic turnaround in inner cities and the new DB Bike is a pretty good argument to switch to cycling more often.
A 3D animation was also created to visualize the new bike and explain the modifications.
